【數字看台灣】2011 Index of Economic Freedom

這是 www.heritage.org/index(Heritage Foundation, 美國傳統基金會) 與WSJ(華爾街日報)所作的年度報告，TW Ranking: 25/183，前25個國家分數如後。

評比總共10個項目： Business Freedom, Trade Freedom, Fiscal Freedom, Government Spending, Monetary Freedom, Investment Freedom, Financial Freedom, Property Rights, Freedom from Corruption, Labor Freedom。

得分最低的Labor項目，其說明是「Taiwan's labor regulations remain rigid. The non-salary cost of employing a worker is low, but dismissing an employee is relatively costly and burdensome. Regulations on work hours are not flexible.」是說勞工法規嚴格，增聘勞工之非薪資成本低，但資遣困難且費用高，關於工時之法令僵化。

本項目美國是95.7, 中國54.9，法國51.4，Taiwan 46.1，德國為40.6。對勞工保護越多，則分數越低。台灣法令對勞工的保護，竟與德法接近，令人稱奇。

另外，分數較低的如貪污，智權保護，金融自由等項目則尚可理解。
