【數字看台灣】大麥克指數
有趣的指標,以食物即麥當勞之大麥克(被認為是最容易被通貨膨脹影響的商品)在當地售價與美國本地售價之比較。這是2010年經濟學人(Economist)編列的大麥克指數(Big Mac Index)

1. Taiwan Implied PPP of the dollar = 20.1
是說依照相對美國之大麥克售價,1美元應該等同於20.1(75/3.73)新台幣,但實質匯率是32.1新台幣,經濟學人以此推斷,新台幣是被低估了。
