有趣的指標，以食物即麥當勞之大麥克(被認為是最容易被通貨膨脹影響的商品)在當地售價與美國本地售價之比較。這是2010年經濟學人(Economist)編列的大麥克指數(Big Mac Index)

1. Taiwan Implied PPP of the dollar = 20.1
是說依照相對美國之大麥克售價，1美元應該等同於20.1(75/3.73)新台幣，但實質匯率是32.1新台幣，經濟學人以此推斷，新台幣是被低估了。

車站內的對話

接近下班時間，南下的高鐵月台上，自由座候車道站了一排人。

我正隨意地看著一本書打發時間，耳邊傳來一對男女的對話。

「我想他是不善於溝通的個性吧！」男人的聲音。

「哎呀，你不知道，他認為有些事情很難說清楚，直接去做就是了，搞到後來大家都不知道他在想些什麼，也不知道要怎麼幫他。」女人說。

「所以，我就儘量去弄懂他的想法，再解釋給其他人瞭解，即使只是50%也好。」男人好像努力地說明著狀況。

「......，再這樣下去，團隊戰力會被拖垮。.....」

車終於進站，上車了。
